and passengers must meet all the
requirements as pay departure taxes.
Exemption from diplomats travelers,
UN staff, experts attached to government,
persons approved for employment
in the country, sponsored by Maldivians,
those who have registered bookings
in the tourist resorts or hotels
are pay departure taxes.
All travelers entering a private
yacht in Maldives are also issued
free 30-day visa. Prior authorization
is needed to anchor the vessel or
vessels in other atolls as men through
agents.
